How to: reset pass root mysql

1. Stop mysql:
# service mysqld stop
or
#killall mysql

2..mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables
3.Access mysql without password
4.Create new mysql root password :
UPDATE mysql.user SET Password=PASSWORD('YOUR-NEW-MYSQL-PASSWORD') WHERE User='root';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
4.killall mysqld
5.service mysqld start
